Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities

Change a Heart is a ministry of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities (Western PA Region). The sisters are a multi-cultural, international congregation of women religious who have served in the Diocese of Pittsburgh for more than 140 years. They have made many vital contributions in response to the needs of the times through their ministries of healthcare, education, social services, housing and prayer. The congregation extends to sisters ministering throughout the United States (including Hawaii) with congregational offices in Syracuse, Kenya, Peru, and Puerto Rico.

Americorps

Each year, AmeriCorps offers 75,000 opportunities for adults of all ages and backgrounds to serve through a network of partnerships with local and national nonprofit groups. Change a Heart is one of the affilate programs.

St. Vincent Pallotti Center

The mission of the St. Vincent Pallotti Center is to inspire volunteer service through Catholic-based organizations. We support prospective volunteers during their exploration of service opportunities, strengthen the personal and spiritual development of volunteers while they serve, and assist former volunteers to stay connected to their ideals and their communities.
