Bethlehem Haven
A multi-service outreach project for homeless women, Bethlehem Haven offers a drop-in center, emergency shelter, clinic and employment initiatives.

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Pittsburgh
Rooted in the Gospel and social teachings of the Church, Catholic Charities provides leadership in mobilizing resources to address the needs of individuals and families.

East End Cooperative Ministry
An interfaith coalition of churches and institutions, the East End Cooperative Ministry serves human needs and promotes recovery and self-help among the residents of Pittsburgh’s East End.

Emmaus House
A community that serves persons with mental disabilities, Emmaus House promotes the needs of senior adults through public awareness.

Family Links, Inc.
A non-profit social service agency, Family Links provides mental health and mental retardation programs, youth and family development programs, adult community services, alcohol and other drug treatment, and school-based prevention services to children, families and individuals throughout southwestern Pennsylvania.

Focus On Renewal
A multi-service center for residents of McKees Rocks and Stowe Townships, Focus On Renewal offers a credit union, transportation program, emergency food assistance, low-cost clothing, crisis care, parenting services, child care, housing for low-income elderly and health care services.

Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank
A nonprofit organization committed to eliminating hunger, the Great Pittsburgh Community Food Bank develops collaborative strategies to encourage self-reliance in southwestern Pennsylvania.

Hosanna House Inc.
A multi-purpose community center, Hosanna House Inc. provides comprehensive social services for the people of Wilkinsburg, Pa.

Mainstay Life Services
A community-based human services facility, Mainstay Life Services offers support for individuals with mental retardation.

Orr, Compassionate Care Center
A 14-bed respite care program, Orr Compassionate Care Center provides shelter, clothes and meals for homeless and frail persons, specifically those who have just been released from the hospital.

The Pittsburgh Project
An urban, neighborhood-based Christian community development organization, The Pittsburgh Project seeks to restore the city by training leaders, serving the poor and rejuvenating residents.

Rural Ministry
Social service placements are available along the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.

Salvation Army
A social services organization including various religious and human services associations, coalitions and conferences, the Salvation Army offers programs and relief to address contemporary needs including: disaster relief services, day care centers, summer camps, holiday assistance, services for the aging, AIDS education and residential services, medical facilities, shelters for battered women and children, family and career counseling, vocational training, correction services, and substance-abuse rehabilitation throughout western Pennsylvania.

Three Rivers Youth
A private nonprofit agency, Three Rivers Youth provides services to abused, neglected, runaway and homeless adolescents between the ages of 12 and 21, and their families.
