- Talk with the Director of the Change a Heart Program about specifics of the program. Possibly set-up a visit to Pittsburgh to meet current program members! Although not required, it does give an applicant a good idea of our program is all about.
- Complete a formal application, which does imply a commitment on your part to join our program. While there is no formal application deadline, our program is small, thus space is limited. Preference is given to applicants who apply prior to July 1, 2010.
- Arrange an interview with the Director. Phone interviews are also an option if travel proves to be a challenge. Discuss Service Placement opportunities with Director.
- Through the direction and guidance of the Director of the Change a Heart Program, an interview will be arranged with 1-3 Service Placements. This is to ensure the Service Placement is a good fit for you, the program applicant, and the Service Placement as well.
- Once the Service Placement has confirmed your position, the application process is now complete.
- Congratulations – you are officially a Change a Heart-er!
